Primavera's 2024-2025 impact report is now available. Here's a snapshot of what you'll read:

We added 75 units in shelter and affordable housing. We nearly doubled the beds in the women’s shelter, Casa Paloma.

We are in the process of renovating Paradise Hotel in South Tucson, which will add 36 units for families and individuals.

Pima County granted us Viviendas Asistenciales, a facility of 31 units that houses seniors.

In collaboration with the City of Tucson and Old Pueblo Community Services, we launched STAR Village. STAR is a one-year pilot providing safe outdoor sleeping space for up to 25 women. The women are provided case management and services to help stabilize their finances and housing. 

We are part of a pilot project called H2O -- Health to Housing Opportunities -- a program that provides housing-related services and support to certain Medicaid members experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming unhoused.

We continue to hold space for convenings across organizations in housing, workforce
development and more. We also held a cross-sector convening that is still creating new
projects for us all to participate and collaborate in. Read our impact report today clicking below.

Primavera Foundation will take part in a national Homeless Persons Memorial that commemorates the lives of those who died without a safe place to call home.

City leaders, clergy, and Tucson community members are invited to join Primavera Foundation 4-5 p.m., Monday, Dec. 22, at Paupers’ Field at Evergreen Cemetery, 3015 N. Oracle Road, Tucson.

The memorial will feature music selections, reflections, prayers, and a reading of names. 

"The homeless memorial is a time to honor the men, women, and children who perished on the streets this past year -- a time of reverence, dignity, and reflection,” said Primavera Foundation CEO Tisha Tallman.

Primavera CEO Tisha Tallman joined an Arizona Public Media roundtable discussion on The Press Room, focusing on ongoing issues in Southern Arizona related to homelessness and the needs of the unhoused community.

Recently, federal food assistance programs have been challenged. In addition, food prices are rising and the need for food assistance across the community is growing.

Join us in our efforts to provide essential meals to those we serve.

With colder days ahead, many in our community need extra warmth and care. The Primavera Foundation is seeking donations of blankets, jackets, pants, water bottles/Gatorade, hats, reusable bottles, non-perishable snacks, and more for our friends at the Homelessness Intervention & Prevention Drop-In Center and Shelters!

Hundreds of walkers and runners gathered on November 9 at Catalina State Park for the Everyone Runs TMC Veterans Day Trail Races (5.3 & 10.6 miles) and the Kaiser Garage Door & Gates 5K Run and Walk.

A portion of the proceeds benefitted Primavera Foundation’s Project Action for Veterans, which supports veterans in our community with housing and vital resources.

Everyone Runs matched all donations made to Primavera Foundation, for a total contribution of $3,000.

Primavera’s Project Action for Veterans provides housing support services and temporary financial assistance to veterans and their families facing eviction or homelessness. Services address barriers that threaten the veteran and/or their family’s housing stability.

On Saturday, November 15, Primavera Foundation hosted its Second Annual Golf Tournament at Omni Tucson National Resort's Sonoran Course.

The event raises funds for Primavera's shelters and emergency services. 

Golfers and community members came together for a day of friendly competition and giving back. The four-player scramble kicked off at 8:30 a.m., with 47 golfers vying for top placements and the tournament championship. After the rounds, participants gathered for an awards banquet, raffles, and celebration of the day’s winners.

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, volunteers, and players, the tournament was a tremendous success, raising vital funds to support Primavera’s mission of providing housing, workforce development, and emergency services to those in need. Project Action for Veterans and Mobile Outreach attended Hope in the Park on November 6, providing vital information and resources to the community.
