Primavera Cooks! raises funds for shelters, drop-in centers, outreach and more!
In its 24th year, Primavera Cooks! offers opportunities to apprentice with local chefs and dine at Tucson’s best restaurants and venues, with the goal of helping to end homelessness.
TUCSON — The Primavera Foundation, a Tucson-based nonprofit dedicated to co-creating pathways out of poverty, has launched its 24th annual Primavera Cooks! Dining Series, a culinary experience with a purpose.
August through October, community members may dine or be an apprentice chef at one of Tucson’s best restaurants while helping to provide more housing and supportive services for those in need.
This year’s Cooks! is focusing on funding for emergency services, including outreach, shelters, drop-in centers, and supportive services.
Primavera’s vital programs help over 8,000 individuals with more than 30,000 touchpoints per year.

- NEX Tucson (Sunday, September 13)
- The Carriage House with Chef Janos (Friday, October 30)

Be an Apprentice Chef: Have you wanted to go behind the scenes in a professional kitchen? As an apprentice, you will work alongside Tucson’s top chefs to plan, prep, and plate a gourmet dinner for your own guests. It’s a hands-on culinary adventure you won’t soon forget!
