Primavera completed its triannual Community Impact Measurement (CIM) survey in the City of South Tucson.
The survey, developed by NeighborWorks America, has been administered every three years since 2013, with the help of paid workers and volunteers, many recruited from South Tucson. The compiled results will be shared with community leaders and residents, informing Primavera’s future efforts in South Tucson.
Residents from 235 randomly selected households took time to share their perspectives and experiences over the course of two months. The team – Primavera Community Engagement Liaison Lupita Rodriguez, CEO Assistant and Data Officer Michael Macrie-Shuck, and former public policy advocate Anna Rojo Keene — worked alongside a team of surveyors through rain, shine and 100+-degree heat to connect with the community.
“It’s been incredibly rewarding to get to know more of the people of South Tucson,” Rodriguez said. “Speaking with people and listening to their thoughts and comments was an honor and privilege.”
