Primavera’s Project Action for Veterans (PAV) had several developments in recent months that will enhance the support available to veterans.
PAV’s rural office has moved to the Warrior Healing Center, located at 1838 Paseo San Luis in Sierra Vista. The new location is part of a large complex housing over 50 other veteran services, providing Primavera participants with easy access to a wide range of resources.
Among the many services available are prepared meals, service animal pairing, disability rating assistance, rent and utility payment aid, and therapy. The VA has introduced a new resource to help veterans suffering from substance abuse disorder. This initiative is crucial for those who have lost housing due in part to substance abuse.
