About Primavera Cooks!
Cooks! is presented by the Primavera Foundation Board of Directors.
For the past 24 years, Cooks! has raised vital funds for programs at Primavera. This year’s dining series will support emergency services such as shelters, drop-in centers, outreach, and more. Your support will help make that a reality!
Cooks! is a one-of-a-kind fundraiser that pairs a 3-to-4-day cooking apprenticeship with a 5-course dinner to benefit the Primavera Foundation. There are four ways to participate: sign up to be an apprentice, join us for a dinner, or support us through a sponsorship.
In addition, we are offering three raffle prizes along with the purchase of tickets, at the event itself, and INDEPENDENTLY of the dinners.

Be an Apprentice
Do you like to cook? Ever wondered what it’s like to design a menu for a large event and cook in a fine dining restaurant kitchen? The apprenticeship is the heart of Cooks! You will join a few other apprentices and work alongside one of Tucson’s finest chefs to create a wine-paired dinner in a professional restaurant kitchen.
Apprentice chefs meet in advance with the restaurant chef to create the menu and then typically spend 3 days working with the restaurant chef to prepare, cook, and plate all courses of the dinner. Each apprentice is responsible for bringing at least 5 guests to the dinner to share your culinary adventure.
Be sure to purchase your Apprentice ticket ($375.00) below and then either purchase the 5 diner tickets and distribute them to your guests or coordinate with your guests to make sure they purchase diner tickets while they are still available. Bringing more than 5 guests is encouraged. Spread the word!
Be a Diner
As a diner, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a multi-course, wine-paired, gourmet dinner in one of Tucson’s finest restaurants. Tickets cost $195 and that includes tax and gratuity (50% is considered a tax-deductible donation to the Primavera Foundation). You do not need to know an apprentice to join us. Dinners are open to anyone.
Reception/check-in from 6:00 – 6:30 p.m., with dinner served at 6:30 p.m. All reservations are made directly through the Primavera Foundation using the ticket links below.

Sponsorship plays an important part in Primavera Cooks! Your underwriting dollars fund Primavera’s programs and services. All sponsors will receive recognition and be named in all Cooks! marketing materials, including the Cooks! webpage, menus, and social media. Sponsorship Levels
Any individual or group who donates $10,000+ will receive 10 complimentary tickets to the Cooks! event of their choosing and will receive top billing in all Cooks! marketing materials to include website, menus, social media, and shoutout at all dinners.
Any individual or group who donates $5,000-$9,999 will receive 8 complimentary tickets to the Cooks! event of their choosing and will be listed just below the Presenting Sponsor in all Cooks! marketing materials to include website, menus and social media.
Any individual or group who donates $3,000-$4,999 will receive 6 complimentary tickets to the Cooks! event of their choosing and will be listed just below the Gold Sponsors in all Cooks! marketing materials to include website, menus and social media.
Any individual or group who donates $1,000-$2,999 will receive 4 complimentary tickets to the Cooks! event of their choosing and will be listed just below the Silver Sponsors in all Cooks! marketing materials to include website, menus and social media.
Any individual or group who donates $500-$1,999 will receive 2 complimentary tickets to the Cooks! dining event of their choosing and be listed just below the Bronze Sponsors in all Cooks! marketing materials to include website, menus and social media.
