The Primavera Foundation’s Mobile Outreach team is working on meeting people where they are and serving as a resource for its unhoused neighbors.
Launched this year, the team makes several trips per week to encampments and areas where sweeps are conducted. The team builds relationships with those in the community and ensures they are aware of the resources available to them from Primavera and other organizations.
Since launching the program early this year, Primavera’s Outreach team has been able to make a positive impact on hundreds of community members, providing water, sunscreen, flip flops, socks and underwear. They are also connected with resources outside of Primavera, like free meals, trips to urgent care, mental health services, or detox.
