Summer Dining Event

 

Dine Out / Save Lives

The Primavera Foundation, partnering with Tucson Originals, will once again host a series of gourmet dining events this summer, with the help of Apprentice Chefs and Apprentice Sommeliers. These community members, under the tutelage of Tucson’s finest chefs, will create and prepare elaborate wine-paired dinners for guests. The experience will take place in the kitchens and elegant dining rooms of some of Tucson’s favorite restaurants.

Be an Apprentice Chef!


Apprentice Chefs team up with some of Tucson’s finest chefs to create a wine-paired menu, including preparation, instruction, and execution the day of the event, plus a hands-on experience during the dinner. Apprentices receive a chef’s coat embroidered with both the Primavera Cooks! and the host restaurant logos. These coveted spots sell out quickly and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Positions are available for $250 per person. 100% of this donation is tax deductible. Each apprentice is responsible for bringing or guaranteeing five diners to their dinner.


Be an Apprentice Sommelier!


Apprentice Sommeliers learn from professional sommeliers. Apprentices attend a wine class/tasting where they are educated about various grapes, regions, and the history of wine. Also, they meet with restaurant and apprentice chefs and help select which wines will be served with each course. Positions are available for $150 per person. 100% of this donation is tax deductible. Each apprentice is responsible for bringing or recruiting five diners to their dinner.

Guests enjoy a fabulous, multi-course, wine-paired, gourmet dinner. All reservations are made with Primavera directly and not with the host restaurants. For reservations contact David at 623-5111 x101. The wine-paired dinners cost $125 per person including tax and gratuity. Payment must be made in advance, payable to The Primavera Foundation. Fifty dollars of this donation is tax deductible.
